Diane Surine…in her words:

For me, the joy of artistic expression comes from the freedom to break the rules, even the rules of the art world. I choose not to adhere to the traditional concept that one must create a style and not stray. By experimenting with different media, techniques, and subject matter, I find creative challenge and inspiration. The variety is not only interesting for me, but also somehow necessary. I celebrate the lack of apparent cohesiveness. One could, collectively, label the style modern impressionism, because the spirit of immediacy and movement (signatures of impressionism) certainly resonates with me.

I’m happy, love to dance, and love to play with paint. Perhaps you will see these commonalities in my work.

Enjoy the show!
